That shockwave was crazy

Wait, is it an thermo-electric power plant? Agro-chemical plant? Nuclear power plant? No one (the internet at the moment) seems to know…
Either way, it’s no Middle Eastern nitrate dock blast, but still… impressive.
Extreme-Accident-968 on
not a power plant

Not good, not terrible

This is the better angle, the shockwave look like the Beirut and and Tianjin explosions

**No deaths.** Over 60 people injured, most only lightly, with two people requiring hospitalisation. Lots of property damage. There is now a huge crater there, and the explosion apparently shattered windows of houses 2.5km away.
It was a chemical plant, not power plant, that was involved in producing commercial cleaning products. The owner has been arrested as apparently there were unauthorised flammable materials found which worsened the blaze.

It’s OK, they have 40 billion of our dollars now so they’ll be fine. They’ll rebuild, but only after 1 more concert.

Can’t be a power a plant the power is still on.Â

I feel like if people watched a real nuke explode, the reaction would also be the same “wooo” I hear in the first few seconds of this video.

What’s really cool is seeing the earth being pushed through the trees just before the boom hits…
Heraklian on
Not a power plant, I believe it was a chemical plant
The gap between the fireball and the boom illustrates the difference in speed of light and sound. We are so used to movies and TV where it all happens at the same time, but that is not real life. Big ass fire ball, about a second later, big ass boom.

Send em another 40 Billion! Would be a powerful investment for America First! Thank you for you attention to this matter!

It’s okay, they got 40b to help fix it.

When was this?
U.S. gonna sent 40B to them, it will be fine
15 injured. agrochemical plant. [cedarnews.net](http://cedarnews.net)
That’s the $20B we just gave them.
What happens when your Neil Diamond tribute band turns it up to 11.
What the hell blew up?! What is in a powerplant that could explode like that?
That is one of the most stereotypical explosion sounding explosions I’ve ever heard.
When did this happen?
Our $40 billion being burned.
No deaths?!! Wow I’m so happy for them and their families.

Nature can be catastrophically beautiful.
Whooooooo :O

That shockwave was intense.
Mi house is about 17km and my wife thought somebody was breaking in.
Tuuuuug, tuuug, you guys ok? Call 911!
Don’t worry guy… Trump will pay for that too.
I’ve never been in war but I wonder how this compares to regular combat vs industrial accidents
The only view I have seen… like 6 times now.
Better make it 90 billion.
